Execution (step by step)
1
Stand in front of a sturdy bench or box at knee height, hold dumbbells.

Place one foot fully on the bench, heel at the edge.
3
Push through the heel of your upper leg and step up until you stand upright.

Bring the other leg next to the working leg without using it for support.
5
Step back to the starting position in a controlled manner and switch legs.
6
Keep your torso slightly forward for more glute activation.
