Execution (step by step)

Stand on the machine platform, shoulders under the shoulder pads.

Feet shoulder-width apart or slightly narrower, toes slightly outward.

Unlock the machine, lower your hips until thighs are parallel to the platform.

Push back up through the heels without fully extending the knees.

Keep your back flat against the back pad throughout the entire movement.

A higher foot position trains more glutes, a lower foot position more quadriceps.
