Execution (step by step)

Stand in front of a low cable station, hold an EZ-bar or straight bar, palms up.

Keep elbows close to the body -- elbows are the pivot point.

Curl the weight up toward your shoulders while keeping the elbows fixed.

The cable provides constant tension even at the bottom of the movement -- advantage over barbell.

Lower slowly for maximum muscle activation via eccentric phase.

Avoid swinging with the torso -- make the biceps do the work.
