How this guide works

Every recommendation is based on peer-reviewed research. The evidence rating indicates how strong the scientific proof is. "Strong evidence" means multiple meta-analyses confirming the effect. "Moderate evidence" means positive results but less research. "Early evidence" means promising but not yet definitively proven.

Dosages are based on what has proven effective in research. Always start with the lowest recommended dose and build up. More is not always better - for most supplements, there is a ceiling above which extra intake has no additional effect.
